The Ayodhya Temple, known as the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, is a significant religious site in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. It has been the center of a longstanding dispute between Hindus and Muslims, culminating in the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992. After a lengthy legal battle, the Supreme Court of India granted the land to Hindus for the construction of a temple in 2019. The foundation stone for the new temple was laid in August 2020, and the temple is set to become a major religious landmark once completed.
